Bet365 Puts Progressive Jackpots on Sports Bets in Industry First

Bet365 has launched Jackpot365 on its sports product, becoming the first major operator to offer a progressive jackpot feature directly on the sports betslip. The rollout, announced on 8 June 2026, lands deliberately ahead of the World Cup — the biggest betting event in the calendar.

The mechanics will be familiar to anyone who plays progressive slots: four separate jackpot pools, funded by optional entries, paid out at random as cash prizes. What is new is where it lives. Rather than sitting inside a casino game, Jackpot365 attaches to any qualifying sports bet — build a bet, opt in for an additional entry fee, and the wager doubles as a jackpot entry without affecting the underlying bet.

Jackpot365 is not an untested concept. Bet365 launched the feature on its casino product in December 2025, where — by the company’s own figures — it has since paid out almost £50,000,000 across more than 112,000 individual jackpot wins. That works out at hundreds of jackpot drops per day, a deliberately high-frequency model closer to daily-drop slots than to the rare, enormous payouts of networks like Mega Moolah.

The sports version follows the same design: four progressive tiers with frequent smaller wins rather than a single headline pool. Prizes are paid as cash, and players can opt in or out on any bet.

The launch is a signal of where jackpot mechanics are heading: out of the slot lobby and into every corner of the betting product.
